Chunzheng Wang (王淳正)

About Me

Hello! I am Chunzheng Wang, a PhD student at Institute of Modern Physics, Fudan University (Advisors: Ma Yugang, Shou Qiye, Zhang Song). Currently, I am visiting the European Organization for Nuclear Research (CERN) for a two-year period (Advisor: Fabrizio Grosa). My research focuses on the upgrade of the ALICE ITS3 detector and phenomenological studies of chiral anomaly effects in relativistic heavy-ion collisions.

• Upgrade of the ALICE ITS3 detector
  Contributions in ITS3 TDR Technical Design report for the ALICE Inner Tracking System 3 - ITS3; A bent wafer-scale monolithic pixel detector
• Phenomenological studies on chiral anomaly effects in relativistic heavy-ion collisions
  Established methods to separate signal and background in the measurement of chiral magnetic waves in relativistic heavy ion collision experiments using event shape selection, and to extract the true signal fraction.
